When it comes time to take a late summer garden tour, some flowers are fading and others are just coming into full bloom.

We love to repurpose containers as rustic garden planters because they work well with our style. This can often save money.

It is a sweet surprise when weeds add garden charm. I don’t always leave them, but many times, I do. There are some returning visitors.

By the dog days of summer, some of the plants in my garden are happy with the heat and humidity.
