Spear Headed Spade or Shovel

When my mother bought this spear headed spade or shovel, it seemed to me that we didn’t need it. We had a full rack of garden implements.

Then I used it.

This is the best digging tool for getting into tight places, cutting through turf or dividing perennials.

It has all the right details, like foot rests on the top edges of the business end, to help you push down efficiently.

It also has a padded handle and it is the right length to help you can get good leverage to dig under plants with thick roots.

We keep it right next to the shed door to have it handy. It’s the first one I go for when I need a strong tool for a tough job, where a hand digger is not enough.
